BASE PROJECT

Updated: Mar 6

The project is carried out in the Bytom area and involves young residents of Bytom in creative activities and joint discovery of the social functions of contemporary art. The main goal of the project is to show children and young people that through art they can complement the space in which they live every day with their point of view, their voice. During the project, young people have the opportunity to get to know the artists and their work, and then take artistic action together with them in the urban space.

My project was to create a miniature, remote-controlled copy of Bytom's Sleeping Lion statue and create a narrative around it, allowing young people to engage in the creative process. Workshop participants created an urban action in the form of an outdoor game, in which the remote-controlled Sleeping Lion toy was the guiding theme and “guide”:-)
